Toodoped: these days lots of people that I know lost their families and everything they had because its legit and even youngsters can chip in
Toodoped: Same as the mob paying sites...ppl pay for "Disneyland" and wiki mob stuff, something which they can find it on their own with a simple google search
VanillaLimeCoke: Lousy school violence these days. Not even a 6th of the way through September and we've already had a psychotic violent school shooting.
Toodoped: Word. Few days ago, over here, they caught one teenager with a gun and more than 60 bullets, while going to school. I wonder what was his plan ?!

VanillaLimeCoke: Yeah, but they’re already planning things so he can’t turn them around
VanillaLimeCoke: Biden’s pardened over 8000 people, most of which were issued in the last 2-3 months

Jason1969: Hey! After applying months ago, I finally got my button and was accepted as a member!
How many people on this board follow it? IMHO it is fabulous. Love watching a match and having it over before noon on a Saturday, giving me the rest of the day to do whatever. Beats the hell out of the NFL.

Good to hear from an American DT . I have to admit i haven't had the time to watch much of any football this season except 2 Celtic games i attended, i have kept up with the results but couldn't tell you any specifics. If i'm remembering correctly you said you support Hull, any particular reason?
For the record, Liverpool is the English team i support it mostly comes from a game i went to at Anfield when i was a kid where all of the Celtic and Liverpool fans sang You'll Never Walk Alone (a song shared by both clubs) in unison. I also remember going to a few pubs with my dad and older brother, and being bought Liverpool scarfs and other things .
You mean Premier League Football.. I like it yes but losing interest as each season passes, driven by money and greed, too much money in the English game, which comes from TV revenue and advertising.. A newly promoted team now receive around £86 million over a three year period.

How can it work any other way? I completely agree with you that there is too much money in the English game. At the end of the day though the people who have heavily invested in teams like Man City,Chelsea and QPR have chosen were to place their money. Billion and Millionaires could easily start investing in teams like Rapid Vienna for instance, and i think PSG and the recent interest in Ligue 1 from investors is starting to show that England is slowly losing it's position as the most invested in league in the world.
A prediction i'll make now that as far as i'm aware has no basis, is that over the next 15-25 years the MLS, will start getting alot more investment and football will be promoted alotmore to the public in the US. If this was wrong then please someone correct me, but i read somewhere that the two biggest sports in the US (American ) Football and Baseball have been declining in both viewership and merchandise purchases over the last decade or so.

I am obviously a big football fan and a mad Newcastle fan. I remember my Dad taking me to my first game back in the '70's, the glory years of Keegan as a player and a manager when i was a season ticket holder. No longer a ticket holder ,although my 2 eldest sons are, but i still get up there a few times a season and watch all the rest of the games through various outlets (foreign channels in pubs usually)

Great win for Newcastle away to Hull (sorry Dontomasso) but ruined by our daft manager headbutting one of their players. Beyond foolish. A superb win is forgotten now in all the negative press reaction to it!!!

Europe Soccer Fans. Recently on this side of the pond there has been concern over brain damage from "headers" in soccer. In the news was the case of a 29 year old player who is suffering from dementia caused by too many 50 mph head shots. Is this an issue or concern on your side of the pond?

MC, my eldest son Mike, is the best header of a ball I have ever seen, he is an absolute beast in the air. He is only 15 though so dementia not quite on the horizon yet. I may be showing signs but I was a goalkeeper who tended to get whacked in the nether regions a lot......
