I think I have this won already, and can't lose no matters what happens in the Final 4. Congrats Lou. A 7 and 8 seed oin the final = 15. Highest combo ever. Those seed makers should be fired No one picked these two teams. Yikes.

Congratulations, Lou. We might as well just congratulate you at the beginning of these tournaments anymore.
And congratulations, Geoff, for winning the women's bracket. My wife, daughter and I went to Nashville on Friday on the spur of the moment to watch the Final Four games in the women's tourney. Alyssa Thomas, who led the Terps to the final four, went to our local high school and befriended my daughter when my daughter was little and going to basketball camps where Alyssa was a volunteer. My daughter texted her when we got there Friday night, and Alyssa invited us to the hoteel where the team was staying Saturday after practice. My daughter was introduced to the entire team and coaches, who could not have been nicer.
Anyhow, it is amazing when a school wins the national championship in men's and women's basketball in the same season. But Connecticut has done it twice now. And between them they are a perfect 13-0 in championship games.
Oddly enough UCONN and KY were 7 and 8 seeds, respectively, in the tournament, but they are arguably the two best NCAA programs in the past 20 years. I think that the men's tournament this year was one of the best ever.
