My middle son Andrew picked up a football injury on Sunday. It appears he has ripped a tendon off his pelvis/hip bone and is in some pain. He also has to clomp around on a pair of crutches and will be out of action for at least a month. Not a happy child at all.

When I first heard about it I wondered how with today's technology it was even possible to lose an entire airplane. Between tracking the plane and anyone's cell phone location on the plane.. Also, knowing where it was when it went off radar, it has to be in a certain specific area. We know it isn't in the Atlantic ocean, for example. It could have only gone so far.

My mother collapsed at the local shop yesterday and ended up in hospital, her 3rd visit this year. Apparently she had a faint due to her blood sugar problems, but she told me last night that she had had nothing to eat all day which obviously would not have helped. When I asked her why she said she forgot!!! Whoosh, worry, worry, worry!!! It is approaching the time to consider putting her into a proper nursing home, something she has always said I must never do to her, but what do I do??

The curse of being an only child I guess, all falls down on me!!

Sorry to hear about your mom. Is it possible that medication will help? Is she good about taking medication? It IS hard to know what to do and you being an only child, I can imagine how you must feel.
