Wow that is crazy I just read Leonetti's book and they said the day he tried hanging himself they adjourned everyone for the day and Scarfo Sr. showed no emotion and went as far as saying he couldn't be seen around the Scarfo compound once he was okay.(which he never was)

I feel bad for the kid, he did nothing wrong to have a demented father like that, I truly hope he is in a better place.

And to make things worse there is one male that is not incarcerated his half brother Chris.
Mark was very well liked and did not want anything to do with that life, how ironic just like Chris.

Poor guy. An innocent casualty of his father's life of crime and violence. Forever young. RIP.

Wow what a shame for him. A life lost due to the life that he wanted no parts of. Scarfo was a sick gangster through and through. He put the life before everything. Followed the code in every way. But destroyed so many lives in the process.

Sad news for an innocent kid who couldn't deal with the shame his disgrace of a father brought on him. That being said, I'll bet this has happened in similar fashion before. I know that two of Henry Tameleos sons died via suicide after he died in prison after being framed for the Teddy Deegan hit in Boston. He was exonerated with Peter Limone years later. These are the victims you never hear about, collateral damage in a way.

Sad. Reminds me of Craig DePalma, although Craig actually got shoved into the life by his father before trying to hang himself in jail. Lingered in a coma for more than seven years before dying. Poor, poor Craig .

The sad truth is, some of these guys don't even give a shit about their own kids. Not all of them, mind you. But enough of them to give you an idea of what some of them are capable of (or incapable of, like loving their kids above money and their own self-importance).

Why? What makes you hate him? Remember, it's not his dad who died, it's an innocent person.
