there are a few candiates, iam thinking on that poor bastard that was tortured by casso because of the failed hit on him. Torturing reminds me instantly on deStefano, he had some gruesome killings too..

Pitera was partial to a bit of torture. He tortured some guy for information and Rosario Gangi had to put the guy out of his misery.

Action Jackson's is by far the worst; unless anyone can come up with something to surpass it in terms of sadism.

Rosario Gangi had nothing to with that hit, he was with the Genovese and a captain. His nephew or cousin(not sure which),Frank Gangi was an associate, but it was Billy Bright that put the guy out of his misery.I think you're speaking of the Leone-Stern hit, the murders that made him death penalty eligble.
