The only direct organized crime connected snuff films would be those videos where Mexican cartel soldiers start decapitating each other with chainsaws, machetes or bowie knives. Most films that can be qualified as snuff however are the work of unrelated vile pieces of filth that like to tape a murder for their own disgusting pleasure. A notorious one is the infamous "Three Guys One Hammer" video where two of the worst examples of inhuman garbage disgustingly slaughter an elderly man on film. Never watched the clip (you probably can find it somewhere on the internet), but the story surrounding it was enough to throw me into a fit of rage.

I cannot remember who did the study but what they found in terms of "snuff films" were some videos of people dying from auto erotic asphyxiation but it was not on purpose. Yes there are obviously videos of people being murdered but there are no true snuff films like in the movie 8MM with Nick Cage. You say share my life, and I think share my tequila. And this guy did not let nothing get by him,it was all on 8mm if my memory serves me right.But definitely a reel to reel machine. It seamed the more the dope spread the more strung out these people became (not the viewers, the directors and participants) This started out as abuse.And blossomed into full out snuff after there was one or more accidents,during the abuse scenes witch resulted in deaths. Sickos exist in any country in any ethnicity. In Belgium there was Marc Dutroux who's a convicted child rapist, torturer and murderer. He has been brought into connection with a child pornography network that spanned several countries and Western and Central Europe. God knows what else they did. It's important to note that there are relatively few cases like that to be found (which are still far too many of course). And the cases I have read about involving child porn (or maybe snuff for that matter) were always ran by individual sickos without any ties to traditional organized crime.
