My favorite book from him was
Rum Diary. Read it numerous times first about 15 years ago. The movie was a huge disappointed for me. Hated it.
Me, too, Cheech. Funny thing is, he didn't finish and publish that book until MANY years after he initially wrote it.
Re the movie: Johnny Depp is just too fucking weird now. When's the last time he made a movie where he didn't wear eye shadow?
