Any good websites for Sicilian recipes? I saw a post below for Mafia recipes, it's a facebook page though, so hard to navigate. Any websites have old famliy recipes, not any TV chef recipes if you know what I mean? I did find this: http://siciliancookingplus.com/Looks like a pretty good site, they're all from a NYC restaurant.

Seems like a great resource -- thanks! Will look it over...
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

anyone remember..vasteddi Yes Sir, love that stuff...When i'm in Brooklyn, there's a place on the border of Carroll Gardens & Red Hook called Ferdinando's Focacceria(Cheech B)...They make a good sandweech there...The place has been in business for over 110 years...Also another thing you might wanna try is the “panelle sandwich.”... It's three deep-fried chickpea fritters topped with ricotta and pecorino-romano cheese and is served on a house baked semolina roll.

This is a great site! The restaurant was not far from my "territory" - and reading through the different sections, I'm feeling inspired again! Signor V.
"For me, there's only my wife..."
"Sure I cook with wine - sometimes I even add it to the food!"
"When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies?"
"It was a grass harp... And we listened."
"Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? Every, every minute?"
"No. Saints and poets, maybe... they do some."
