After being roundly condemned by the Anti-Defamation League and the Simon Wiesenthal Center for what they consider anti-Semitic comments defending Mel Gibson in a Playboy interview, Gary Oldman has apologized with a statement to both groups. But for some reason, he did not apologize to other groups and people he insulted, including gays, African Americans and Nancy Pelosi. In the Playboy interview, Oldman went on something of a tirade against what he called “hypocrisy,” and “political correctness,” defending comments made by Alec Baldwin and Gibson that were called homophobic, sexist and racist. Hilarious.Oldman makes honest comments about current climate and how people should say whatever they want, and then he caves and apologizes just like a pussy.
Everybody's a tough guy or "just being honest" until there are consequences to be paid, then they become little bitches. His apology was blatantly insincere.
I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

Everybody's a tough guy or "just being honest" until there are consequences to be paid, then they become little bitches. Absolutely. They live in such fear of being "blackballed" from the entertainment industry (which is the most PC collection of douchebags in the world), that they ultimately apologize a day later. Now I disagree with just about everything he said, but what happened to his right to say it? Is it fair that conservatives in Hollywood have to keep quiet about their political views to keep working? Just more proof that the extreme left is all for freedom of speech, unless they don't like what you have to say. And no one should ever have to apologize to Nancy Pelosi. She personifies everything that's wrong with the two party system. Fuck her.

Amen to that. And, whatever he said, Oldman is still one of the best actors ever.
