Well it is a very rare match that has more than say 2 Penalties in it, in fact it's quite rare to have more than 1 if even that, so it's not much of a sample for an average to mean anything. It's pretty much 100 or 0% most of the time. Unless there's a PK shootout, average of couse goes down then, because there's at least 6 penalties in a shootout and usually more.

It was a stunning and devastating loss for Mexico with the Dutch tying it in the 88th min and winning it minutes later on a penalty kick. Mexico was the team I'd have been pulling for if the US is knocked out.
All the Dutch did late in the game was make a lot of crosses. Then someone hit a nice goal from outside. Then the Pk happened.

They used dummy passing. I don't know why everyone don't try that? All you have to do is make sure the further away pass options line themselves up with the short pass options. And the passer has enough on the ball. Then it is up to the short pass option if he is going to let the ball run or not.if he does then the short option moves up in the flow of play so he can get a return pass.
They tried back heels which look hard, but are easy to complete.
They had three defenders around any opponent who had the ball.
