I also have a subscription to the Chicago Tribune's online services, which means I have access to old articles from the archives. Found one covering a gambling bust in Cicero from 1947 that has Tornabene as one of those arrested.

John DiFronzo is also all over the place in the fifties for burglary busts. One in particular stands out in 1949 when John was 20 and he and his partner were caught in the act. His partner was shot and killed and John was apprehended.
