I have a great picture of my great-grandfather in a NYC burlesque bar with all of his cronies. My mother has it on the mantel over the fireplace at her house. I'll have to get a picture of it and upload it on here. They're all decked out and half of the guys look like Robert De Niro.

That cover photo from Tony Pastors reminded me of it because the picture was in something very similar except there's a burlesque dancer on the front - must be from around the same time period.

Yeah, doesn't seem like restaurants do this any longer. I know in the 80's a lot of Atlantic City restaurants used to take table photos. Speaking of Atantic City, I just recently tried Angeloni's Italian Resturant, mentioned in Crazy Phil's book. It's right up the block from Scafo's house on Georgia Ave. Well worth a try if Anyones in the area. Good food, reasonable priced and the bar tender has been there since the Scarfo days and is will to talk about it.

There's restaurants in New York that still do. Thanks for the tip pal. Gotta love old bartender stories .
