is this the same Mike Russell? In this documentary he claims to have helped taken down LCN members in New Jersey and shows how they work and them operating. Was back in the 80's I think and he even mentions the incident I think where he was beaten supposedly by Tommy Ricciardi in an alley and shows where it happened?

Idk this guy might be legit. But the way he carries himself you'd think he was James Bond going on a mission to Russia all alone.
