Cosa Nostra News is now reporting that Mike Russell and his publisher were sued over some of the "facts" asserted in his book by an attorney representing Joe Ricciardi, the man who Russell alleged had shot him in the head. The lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed amount.

is this the same Mike Russell? In this documentary he claims to have helped taken down LCN members in New Jersey and shows how they work and them operating. Was back in the 80's I think and he even mentions the incident I think where he was beaten supposedly by Tommy Ricciardi in an alley and shows where it happened?

IDK Primo, but according to the New Jersey Star ledger article that launch Ricciardi's lawsuit and this article, I think we can say Russell is full of shit and he had to pay Ricciardi for slandering him in the book with lies.

Maybe I missed it and I don't plan on buying it but was the book released already?

Mike Russel, a disgraced former cop still trying to make a buck off a case from 25 years ago where the biggest sentence he got on someone as his time as a paid snitch was like 18 months..LOL..Come on Mikey, get a job my man !!!
