was he? one of the guys he (ordered) killed lived in WNY, NJ but afaik Ida lived on staten island but was originally from downtown, like a lot of those guys seem to do. seemed like a no nonsense guy, but thats the name of the game w that crew of guys. the part in the d'arco book about Ida ducking him at the end was funny. d'arco asking ida questions and ida not even making up bullshit as a reply, but just dead-stare not replying
