It was no secret that Joe's time in Lexington forced John to name Michael. Although Michael was more of a businessman, Jo Jo was "old school, no drugs, and a man of the people.

Joe was, without question, John's first choice.

From everything I've ever seen, read, and heard, everyone has give the same unanimous answer about Jo Jo as you have. Do you think the future of LCN in Pittsburgh would have been drastically different had Pecora not been imprisoned and succeeded LaRocca? Do you think he would have made the same mistake that Genovese did by inducting Porter and being blinded by his drug profits?
