I was going to check them out from the library but I changed my mind. I wouldn't read them if I were you Mig. While as I understand it, the tv series does NOT follow the comic book exactly, there still would be spoilers. My two cents. TIS

My eldest son has read the series of books that have come from the TV show and he reports that oddly enough Rick isn't in them and the Governor is the main character!! I DO remember reading the Governor was a main character in the comics but didn't realize Rick wasn't in it. He is my favorite, along with Darryl. Tho the entire cast is excellent IMHO. I shy away from reading comic book comments just in case there are spoilers. BUT, I'm kind of glad to see the series strays from the comic quite a bit it seems. TIS

I can't believe nobody's commented on last night's episode yet. SPOILERS FOR SEASON 5 EPISODE 3A few thoughts: Do you think Maggie/Glen should have left. Just last week they were agreeing how they all had to stay together. Poor poor Bob. Sad seeing him go. You know it had to be hard for Tyrese to put him down. OMG and Gareth. What a evil SOB he is. The scene in the church was great. Remember when Rick, Darryl, Glen were at the trough and Rick tells Gareth what weapons were hidden behind the fence? Rick described a red handled knife and told Gareth, "that's what I'm gonna kill you with." And sure enough he brutally did. Finally, I wonder where Darryl & Carol are? By previews it appears Beth is in some kind of hospital but I didn't see Darryl or Carol. I thought it was an excellent episode. Oh, and one more thing, Pastor Gabriel. I know he's a man of the cloth, but what a chikensh*t. I mean this is Walker world we're talking about. He appears to be a big baby. TIS

Somebody in a comment section suggested that perhaps, since his leg was chopped, maybe he'll be like Hershel, and survive cause they took his leg off shortly after??? Don't know. Just a thought. Btw, in next weeks previews, someone starts to attack Sasha who is looking for Bob. Is that the same guy? Yea, all those guys chomping on poor Bob's leg like it's nothing. OMG. Talk about losing a moral compass. TIS Hershel was bit on the leg which was quickly amputated.

TIS i believe the actor playing pastor Gabriel was also on both the wire and oz.

Dixie, I thought that too. Even tho, Darryl never met Morgan and wouldn't know who he was unless one of them mentioned Rick. Doesn't mean that Darryl didn't run into him on the road tho. Just the way Darryl said "you can come out" makes me think it was NOT Carol with him. TIS

I really thought last night's episode was yet another good one. I know DeNiro hasn't seen it yet, so I'll wait to post more. As usual, a great ending too. TIS

SPOIILERWell disturbing yes, but several TWD have been disturbing but good nonetheless IMHO. I especially liked the last half hour. And YES that was Carol. And yes Gorman gave me the creeps, the disgusting sleazeball. TIS
