I read his book " FAMILY SECRETS" and he was really up against the wall, he either was going to do a long stretch in the joint or turn to giving up his old man.

Tough call. If you push that life on one of your sons (like, say, Greg DePalma), that makes you a lousy father in my book. If they're drawn to it on their own, and you throw your hands up and put them in your own crew just to protect them from the wolves (the Bascianos and LoCascios come to mind), then it's a different story. It's Chicago, so I have no frame of reference to comment. That's why I used Bronx guys as examples .

Oh, and when I say that pushing your sons into the life makes you a bad father, I'm talking about the American mob. Sicily and Italy are a different story all together. It's part of the cultural fabric over there. When your a male and born into the life over there, you honestly don't have much of a choice. In America 2014, you do.

Yea PB from what I can tell Frank Sr. pushed Jr. and Kurt into the life, it seems he had them collecting for him before they even graduated high school. Then Kurt didn't even testify against him but yet he had to deal with fake bombs on his steps that he thinks came from his own old man just lets you know how sick he was.

Even still Kurt showed up to court to let Frank Sr. know at sentencing how bad of a Dad he was and to get his shots in as well. So it does make you wonder how 2 of your sons turn on you like that you must have really done some bad shit to them.

Picked up his book in Barnes guys a piece of shit IMO. Went out his way to get his father on tap to get him life this guy was a grown man. Leave town. Lot if guys don't like there dad. Stay the fuck away.
