Decent episode but not as good as the first 3. SPOILERSI really can't say I'm shocked at Eugene's admission. He seems pretty odd and like the Preacher, a real chicken. TWD tends to do well with flashbacks (ie Abraham & his wife/kids) tho it seems they are suddenly in flashback. I was really hoping to see who Darryl had with him and was disappointed they didn't show Rick/Darryl & crew. From previews it looks like Carol got out of hospital and I'm guessing group is planning to rescue Beth. I do have to watch again because I actually nodded out a couple times (lack of sleep). Anyway, here's a link that gives a good synopsis of last night's episode. What did you all think? TIS https://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/tv-news/the-walking-dead-recap-025500465.html

So Eugene was lying after all to make some new friends, interesting to see if they carry on to Washington regardless of Eugene not being a scientist and i think we need to see Rick back on screen as the show never seems to be as good when he is not in it. I'm with you there DeNiro. I don't mind an episode or two without the regulars, BUT it's time to go back to Rick/Darryl. Even with the Governor, who was a GREAT charcter/bad guy, I was ready for them to get back to the group. You almost feel sorry for Eugene, yet that's one hell of a lie. I don't see any reason for them to continue their trip. Also, I still am surprised that Maggie hasn't seemed to mention finding her sister. TIS

Did Eugene die when he was hit the floor, he didn't look too good? Well glad I'm not the only one wondering. My daughter asked the same thing. Looked like he could have been dead. I guess we'll have to wait til next week. TIS

When they were in the train car and Eugene explained how he knew he had the cure, I didn't know what the hell he was talking about either. Sounded like he knew what he was saying. LOL TIS

LOL TIS That's how I picked up on it, too many times he was just spitting shit out and I had an inkling that he was full of it. Then when he claimed crap being classified in the last episode that just sure enough told me he was full of it and that's when I told my Nephew he was lying.

I was really hoping to see who Darryl had with him .
it's going to be Morgan, I bet. He was shown following signs left by Rick after the last Terminus episode.

Oh, right. Yeah that's a pretty good possibility too. However, at the end of the episode, where it shows Darryl and his mystery partner, he "introduces" whomever is there like the group should recognize him. I think he says something to the effect of "Look who it is..." granted I think the only ones who may know Morgan are Rick and Carl.

I thought Darryl said "you can come out now!" When the very next episode went to Beth's story, I was thinking that that scene with Darryl would continue next week with Noah coming out of the woods. However, the fact that they showed Morgan, could be him too IMHO. I'm hoping we'll know Sunday. TIS Looks like we will have to wait at least another week TIS! I'm thinking that some of these loose ends, not all but some, will start to get tied up over the last 2 episodes of 2014 before the break. At the end of last Sunday's episode when we see Carol being wheeled in on the gurney, was I the only one who thought that she was faking it so that she could get into the hospital? What a surprise this week when we see that she actually was hit by a car!
As for Beth, I think that she is going to kill that bitch in the hospital. That bitch Dawn is to Beth what the Governor was to Michone!

( POSSIBLE SPOILERS)Hi DC No you are NOT the only one. I had the same thought. They way it ended last night, sounds like they're gonna "disconnect" Carol? I'm thinking Beth has a plan. We got to see a little flashbacks of Carol and learn a little of her personal life, as well as Darryl's (ie the book about abuse?) Action as well, with the van getting pushed off the bridge by walkers; Noah actually stealing Darryl's Bow. WTF? LOL What was with all those walkers in the hospital area....like they were campers. AND,I'm confused as to the body Darryl dragged out & they burned. Who was it? Good episode again, but I am ready to see Rick & the gang again. Looks like we will next week. TIS

TIS Looked to me like those walkers in the tents were shot when they were humans, and then they turned into walkers. If you watch the episode again you will notice that those walkers who were wrapped up in the sleeping bags had blood circles on those sleeping bags that could have been made from bullets shot into them. Did those people lock themselves in that small hallway, set up camp to be safe from the apocalypse only to be killed by....perhaps....the crew in the hospital that is holding Beth? As for the bodies that Daryl dragged out and burned.... those were the bodies of a mother and small child who had died.

ugh that's two filler episodes in a row. I hate how they do this with a show that has a 16 episode season. How they make something so short so plodding is beyond me.
But I suspect the campers (seeing left overs from survivors who've died off - like the Country Club episode last season - is one of the best parts of the show) were just survivors who died. Possibly by ambush, or one of them being bit and no telling anyone, etc.
