What were you doing that you were able to retire at 45? I wouldn't mind retiring in 15 years.
Teamsters Union for 25 years. Ten as a shop steward and seven as a business agent. I got out as soon as I got my 25 years in (and truth be told I was actually 47 at the time, not 45). Today I manage four apartment buildings here in New York City that I co-own with some family.
