I was curious to see what peoples opinions are on this matter. A bookie I know is charging juice on a former employee who is locked down for 6 months seems kind of f'd up in my opinion. But there aren't any passes in that line of work.
A bookie or a shylock?
Bookies rarely charge interest to their players, unless the customer is a total outsider and has nowhere to go to help him get on the installment plan

A shylock, on the other hand . . . . will often keep the meter running while a debtor's inside. That's just the way it goes. But nothing's set in stone. Just like everything else with that world, it depends who you are and who you owe.
