Thanks for posting it. I've seen many of these myself and this one captures the attention more than most.

For those who don't know, the guy being arrested at the first few seconds is Giovanni Brusca.. he's a real piece of work. He was Toto Riina's main hitman. Claims to have murdered 100-200 people by his own hand. Look him up if you haven't heard of him.
-I shot him a coupla' times. -What's a couple? -Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times? -Maybe fifteen? -Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

How about Lucky Luciano being Carlo Gambino's idol because Lucky was so low key? Yeah, what a bunch of garbage. Or that Carlo worked in Lucky's family, also obviously false. To me, this was not a particularly good documentary. Interviews with Bernard Keric?!? Really disjointed editing between words and images. Lots of discredited myths trolleyed-out as though fact The only interesting claims concerned the high degree of cooperation between Sicily and USA in the drug trade going back to late 40s, with Luciano as middleman of sorts, and then the falling-out in the 80s as US bosses supposedly objected to Sicilian mafia's use of bombs and attacks on judges

Also, I found it interesting that Vito Genovese was importing cocaine from USA to supply to Italian aristocrats and Mussolini's daughter -- again, hard to know if this is true given the sloppy feel of this documentary

They have a contact person, a dealer, and get they their dope through that person. If Hollywood likes doing dope, why not Italian aristocrats? Not saying the documentary's claim is true. But I don't think the scenario painted is unrealistic at all. We should really discuss the drug problem in the United States since rich people insist on smoking their coke and eating it too, but poor people go to jail for selling it, and the G keeps letting it in. We need to discuss solutions to that.

I found the claim of Genovese supplying cocaine to wealthy Italians interesting not because it is a revelation that rich people used cocaine, but rather because it suggests the organized transatlantic shipment of cocaine from either the USA or South America to Italy -- and this circa late 1930s
