I watched a few movies over the holiday.

"The Rise of the FootSoldier." Pretty interesting story about British Football and gangs. There was so many brawls in that film. It was like five sentences of dialogue then FIGHT. And I had to use subtitles cuz I couldn't understand what the hell they were saying but I would put this on my recommended movie list.

Next movie I watched was "In the Name of the Father" with Daniel Day Lewis. I forgot how GREAT a movie this was. For those of you who haven't seen it RENT IT and for those of you who have seen it WATCH IT AGAIN. I think it's ON DEMAND right now.

The last movie I watched was Rocky 2 & part of 3. Always enjoyable movies for me.

Just saw "Capote" with Phillip Seymour Hoffmann. His portrayal is spot on and the movie is gripping.

We all remember Matthew Perry from Fiends. I think he was the best one. But he can't find post-Friends success. He's had three productions, all failures. Now he's starring a sitcom remake of the Odd Couple. Good luck!

Hope this one works. I'm looking forward to watching this. I loved the original with Tony Randall and Jack Klugman.

Anybody watching these guys on The Cooking Channel? They are cousins from NY who run a few pizzerias. They travel coast to coast checking out local pizza parlors and great food in general.

The only Emmy award the tv show odd couple ever got was the same year it was cancelled.

Anybody watching Stalker or Madam Secretary? I like both, which means they'll likely get cancelled. LOL I know I keep hearing Stalker gets bad reviews from critics but is doing well in viewing.

Watch Madam Sec, Wife loves it and i watch it with her since that is a open window bank of time we can sit together. Not even sure what day or time that is but I do enjoy it.

It's a good show, I enjoy it and like you said it will be gone without warning when they kill these shows....however I think this one has much to feed on and can easily be written through practical foreseen events, so it MAY survive.

I am still watching it, and this week's episode scared the crap out of me. While I suspected the son, I never suspected a 2nd stalker! I am more freaked out by what is happening to Beth.

I'm also anxiously waiting for the return of The Blacklist.

Well, I watched Godzilla last night. What a disappointment! I was so looking forward to it. What a slow moving, ponderous monster flick. It pales by comparison with the original or the Matthew Broderick film. Oh well!

I watched it Friday night and posted my comments in the "Movies We Just Watched" thread. Total bullshit. How the hell could they make Godzilla a "good guy" now?? (The special effects were OK, though).

She played Diane's best friend in an early episode of "Cheers." Then "Night Court" kinds fell into her lap because of the timing. Good comic actress. Gorgeous, too.

Kind of like her name, too. Just sayin...

Those weren't the only good things that fell into her lap. She had quite a great pair of yambos.

There's a movie coming out Lily of the Feast. It has a good cast.
Federico Castelluccio (Furio from Sopranos) is directing it. I never realized he was an artist.

Castelluccio is a serious artist. His fine-art paintings have drawn praise for their high level of technical ability, finding influence in the Renaissance and 17th-century Italian and Dutch baroque masters. Over the years he has exhibited his paintings in galleries in New York City, Washington DC and Santa Fe, New Mexico. His works are held in the collection of the Yale Fine Art Museum and Kresge Art Museum as well as private collections throughout the United States, South America and Europe. In 2006 Federico and Paul Sorvino were privately commissioned for artwork to be donated for permanent installation to a new wing of the Boca Raton Community Hospital in Florida.
