FiOS is back up -- after 14+ hours. Apparently some "tree rats" (squirrels) chewed up the wires on the pole.
We used to have trouble with squirrels chewing on copper wires. It was usually mice chewing on Fiber and they only liked the ones with light going through them, not the dead ones.
