Do people who do not live here in Cali drink California wines? Just curious which ones and/or from which counties of Cali? Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Montecito just to name a few.

I prefer the Dago Red (homemade)...The stuff you buy in the store gives me a headache..."Old Time Vines" from the roots to the wines.

Pot roast, potatoes, carrots, gravy and biscuits. That's a meal that would make any Cracker Barrel jealous.

Yes, I've had Louis Martini wines. I'm with you as far as liking the cabs and merlot. White wine tastes like sour fruit juice to me lol. A lot of people out here drink the Robert Mondavi wines, pretty good too. Coppola's diamond label wines are alright. I drink the blue one lol I don't remember which type it is but it's decent tasting. Ever try any of those I named?

The Coppola wines are not my first choice but try the Merlot that's the blue diamond label (I just looked it up) Tell me what you think. I'd rather drink the Mondavi or the other wines I mentioned. Opus one sounds like a good one to try. You have good taste.

Is there anything better than a cappuccino and an almond biscotti?

Nobody does food like the Italians.

You got that right, Moe.

I'm making my sauce (gravy) today. I had to buy a bottle of olive oil from the supermarket instead of the Italian market. You know what I noticed? My olive oil bottle says Pompeii but I looked at the back of the bottle and would you believe that it's not from Naples. It is stamped with ES for Spain and TN for Tunisia. That means those are the countries the olives came from. What the hell?
