It was $1.79 yesterday; today it's $1.69.

Last I seen it was $2.11 but I haven't went to town in a day or two.

Cost me $43 to tank up my truck yesterday. big difference from $75 a month ago!!

I don't drive too much (although I do have a sweet ride, I admit) but it looks like from what I catch in the headlines Saudi Arabia really did us a solid!

Maybe not Barrett. If the Saudi price for crude keeps going down, the fracking and other USA oil operations may shut down because the Saudi stuff will be too cheap to beat. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Well it's $2.39 here and it's great! I have a small compact car and usually $20 would give me almost a half tank. I nearly a full tank. Love it!!

Market down 330. If you got a retirement you are going to lose alot more than you gain with the cheaper fill-ups. Unless you race monster cars maybe.

The market is still near a record high, and hit record highs the last 2 months as oil tumbled. I don't think sub $50 a barrel oil is gonna have too many negative long term effects on the market. My mutual funds have recently made up all the money they lost during the Bush recession.

...Got gas for $1.99 today.

One place has it at $1.66, but most at $1.72.

Price dropped another 10 cents in the 2 days since I got gas. $1.89 now in central Jersey.

$1.79 in Ravenna, Ohio. Of course I had a full tank when I was there yesterday.

WTF. South Jersey was always cheaper. I paid $2.17 yesterday . No matter, the gas/oil industry is F'd up.

I hope you're not complaining, MC. There is only one gas station in my town and it's charging $2.69. The cheapest place near here is three miles away and it's $2.55.

It is weird. I went to Atlantic City last week, and gas was more expensive down there, than up here.

Oil's at $46/47 per barrel. I don't think it's been that low since the 80s. In any case, gas here is at $1.64.

I forgot. It dropped to about $12 in the 90s.

Since gas is so low. What if Obama wants to raise the tax on gas to help pay for new road construction and for head start?

Yeah, the Asian fiscal crisis coupled with the Russians flooding the market because they were hurting for cash.

Still above $2 here in Las Vegas, but that's because the gas tax was ratcheted up in the last year.

Obama people already has threw out a trail balloon on that possibility. Then when gas goes up he will still keep the extra tax to distribute wealth from the middle class to the poor.
