One of the best parts of the book is when he told how he shut Henry Borelli down. Borelli was a psycho with a screw loose with a long body count behind him, but Jon had him in deep check. I don't think even Roy Demeo would have been able to kill Jon Roberts. Jon was not only a killer, but he was a no nonsense businessman and an ex soldier with a very very keen nose.
He wasn't made.
Forgive me. When I say he was an ex soldier, I meant Vietnam veteran, not Gambino.
So from a tactical standpoint, he let Henry know in no uncertain terms that Henry was never to enter Miami Florida without notifying Jon Roberts. Jon was rolling in military formation at all times.
