First of all, I wasn't intruding on anyone's "business" (which by the way is posted on a public messageboard keep in mind) second of all, I work in IT and I know a little about IT security so I'm not just talking out of my ass. It is difficult to hack these sorts of things.
I understand that, Extortion. But I took it as though you were defending this guy, who, by the way, I've given more chances than anyone else on any of these boards.
That's why I'm so angry right now. Not with you, but in general. This guy burned every bridge he ever had, both here, and on the other boards. And he still two-faced me and a few other posters who went to bat for him on the other site when everyone else told us that we were crazy for trusting him. It's a shortcoming of mine. I hate to be wrong. I guess that's called ego, and that's my big sin.
And thanks for the heads up. But I don't do social media. I've changed all my passwords on the boards. And I've deleted my disposable email addresses, and substituted them with new ones. And I NEVER click on anything from strangers. That much I know, even if I am an old fart. But thanks again for the heads up.
