im very surprised that everyone is bringing the godfather down a few ranks just because the third one wasn't up to par. i'd still say it's the best trilogy out there.
-the godfather trilogy -the lord of the rings trilogy -the jersey trilogy(clerks, mall rats, chasing amy) -back to the future trilogy -the terminator trilogy -austin powers trilogy.

i think that the reason people were drawn to the matrix was because of the effects. but since then there have been plenty of movies with better effects, so when the second and third matrix came out, there was nothing special about it. get what i mean? i remember the other big movie that came out the year of the matrix. the mummy.

Even though this isn't a trilogy I am going to list it anyway: The James Bond Collection, and if the new Mission Impossible is good, that too.

i saw blade three yesterday and it confirmed what i already knew, there was no way in hell i was gonna like that trilogy. i mean i had attempted the fist one and only got through the first hour. the second one i only managed 30 minutes. and obviously i saw all of part 3 yesteraday at the theatre. and it just really was weird, ryan renolds is going around the whole movie making jokes, and it seemed like f**k was the most prolific word in the movie. blah. and to many cuts in the action sequences. i don't know, just not my kind of movie.

I couldn't agree with you more. And by the way, the Godfather Trilogy is the best trilogy ever. It's what brought me to these boards altogether.
