Exactly. You reap what you sow. You're housed with like-minded offenders. If you're in for a DWI, you'll never have to worry about running into Charles Manson. You know, Manson has actually needed protection in prison because he's the size of a leprechaun. He's very wary about everything that's going on around him so every time he senses danger he halfheartedly assaults a CO so he gets put in solitary. In the 70's he was even punked by an AB member. He tried to get AB to protect him by using his girls to lure them in, but then when the AB members started marrying his girls he tried to put a stop to it. He had more than one physical confrontation with them. Carmine Galante, Anthony Casso, Vic Amuso, Nick Scarfo, Sammy Gravano, Joey Merlino, Jimmy Ida, Venero Mangano and Carmine Persico are/were all smaller than leprechauns too and they handle themselves pretty well in prison. Well Casso & Amuso got the ever loving sh*t kicked out of them when they acted out but the rest have fared okay.

Well yes sure, but they would do a lot worse in prison if instead of mafioso they would be there for butchering a pregnant woman.

What about the holding cell though? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdG34y8kUycBecause of Footread's jokes about Johnny Depp's small hands..I couldn't help but notice that CB has little baby feet. My 5 yr old grandson Henry had bigger feet that the guy in the suit. Look at how much room there is in that holding cell. In Brooklyn the cell is Hugh and they are full with prisoners. No place to sit they piss in the water fountain. No air its a zoo.grt pulled in on a Friday night your in for the weekend. The guards are all cock suckers. I would love to be in the holding cell in that video. Holding cell is not close. I made two trips to the tombs in my younger days. Both times in for about 36 hours. Its a joke, its basically a bull shit session. Its pretty interesting actually, a real melting pot in there. It was in the tombs when I first learned that Hatians aren't black. I was talking to this black dude (or dude I thought was black) and he told me he wasnt black he was Hatian. He then explained to me the difference. Who said jail can't be educational. I never saw any problems or violence in the tombs in the two times I was at the tombs or the one time I was in New Jersey holding awaiting arraignment. People in there aren't getting violent because they know that its nothing close to real prison.

I have no idea why but whenever I read this thread's title, I crack up. I'm reminded of that episode of The Office where Michael Scott plays one of his numerous personnas, "Prison Mike" and basically makes up shit and tells the guys at the office how bad prison is and how lucky they have it there at the office compared to a prison.
-I shot him a coupla' times. -What's a couple? -Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times? -Maybe fifteen? -Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

Interesting that you learned hatians weren't black. I learned something quite similar yet totally opposite. I learned that the ancient greeks and Romans were actually black. one of those jailhouse scholars schooled me on that. Of course he didn't know the difference between a greek and an Italian. When he heard I was greek, every time he saw me after that he would call me paizan and talk about mama's meatballs.

You HAVE to tell me the explanation he gave you. And whether there was a strong rum smell coming from his mouth. I can't remember. I don't believe he went too in depth. Nor do I know or care whether its true. I was just more telling that story to emphasize the relatively cordial environment that existed when I was there.

I'm cool with hatians. The kid who told me that shit about the ancient Europeans being black wasn't hatian. Just some pseudo intellectual jailhouse scholar who read 'black athena' one too many times

[video:youtube] https://youtu.be/KO4nyyhHqM0[/video] My favorite jail scene ever. When I self surrendered, I worked that day. When I got into my friend's truck to be delivered to the feds, I couldn't help myself... I did the Ray Liotta line; "Now take me to jail", only without popping the 2 valiums. She didn't laugh. I met many good men there. A few assholes, not many. One evening in the visiting room, I'm having a nice visit, the guards would sometimes keep the TV's on (I don't know why, you could only hear the audio using the headsets) and I look up at the TV and there's a show on called American Greed. I don't watch TV, but I did in there occasionally. Next thing I know, I see a familiar face, it's the dude who bags the garbage in the kitchen with me. I only knew him as "so and so" from the kitchen. I wished I hadn't seen it. It was like invading someone's privacy. Others cackled or pointed fingers at the TV (fair share of yentas in there), I made like I never saw it and just kept treating him like the jerk-off I liked from the kitchen.

i don't know about in any other state BUT here in ohio it is pretty corrupt. i've heard this story from someone who spent 13 years in he says " that they'd corrupt the guards and get anything they wanted including phones, drugs." i'm sure its like this all over but yea whatever. i've also heard that fighting is a must if you don't want to seem like a bitch in there. so yea don't let anyone punk you on the inside or anything else cause then you're fucked.

I was never stupid enough to break the law. I can understand why people may want to break unjust laws, like in Sharia law countries, but in most civilized countries there is no reason good enough for lawbreaking. #BlackLivesMatter

Cool people most can play soccer they just don't know the offside rule. A lot of prejudice between foreign blacks. The lighter shin blacks are prejudice against the darker skinned blacks in Brazil.

when I'm eating at work and someone reaches over top of my food...they don't know how close they just came... The little things people don't know. It could go down over something that simple. Talking over food, reaching over food, leaving hair in the sink after you shave in a dorm or even with your bunkie in a cell, not flushing the toilet when youre taking a shit as a courtesy flush... Shit will shake real quick.
