When A Stranger Calls Back(1993) Made for TV movie but much scarier than the likes of Scream. Sort of movie you should watch alone, only works the first time of course, but has a spooky atmosphere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjK9u38LYO8

I know that we all lampoon the casting of George Hamilton as Michael's lawyer in GFIII and Eli Wallach as Don Altobello. However, I watched (again) part of The Conqueror starring John Wayne as Ghengis Khan. Madonne! John Wayne at the height of his popularity being cast like that. That's the all-time example of just downright goofy casting. Oli, If I'm not mistaken wasn't Wayne also in a biblical movie that he seemed really miscast? Can't think of it. TIS

I haven't "just" watched it, but I recommend the movie adaptation of Stephen King's Christine. One of the better King adaptations.
The Wraith is another great 80's horror movie.
I plan on watching both over the next few days. Speaking of King, I think it's AMC that is gonna have all King day (or week), on or around Halloween. OR did it already happen and I missed it? LOL Yea I see it was last week. I saw previews and lineup includes: It, The Shining, Misery, Dead Zone, Cujo, Carrie Pet Sematary. Great if you're a King fan. TIS Here's the whole AMC lineup, not just King. American Werewolf In London, The Omen, among my favorites too. http://www.amc.com/talk/2014/10/amc-fear...d-chucky-movies

The ending of Pet Sematary was one of the most f**ked up things I ever seen.
Good movie. Has more emotional depth than a lot of horror movies.
I must have seen Misery a hundred times. Great movie. Yea, it was definitely creepy. My daughters and I still remember the creepy kid saying "I wanna play with youuuuuu" and still will jokingly say it to each other. Speaking of King, don't know if you remember (or saw) the move "Maximum Overdrive", based on his short story, called "Trucks." Every time that's on, the listing description says "Kings self-admitted most moronic story he ever wrote." (something to that effect. ) I did see the movie but I think only once, years ago. Evidently King is right. Ha ha TIS
