It means summer, being able to go outside without having to put on a jacket, baseball...lol Christmas is about the only thing that draws me to winter.
I love shorts & a T-Shirt as well and comfort is #1 wth me too! But I just can't stand heat for 10 months outta the year...I need some change! Plus I LOVE winter clothes & chicks I think look hottier in them too [/b][/quote]On the comfort thing...I think I just don't like heavy stuff on my legs. I'd rather wear capris and a heavy jacket in the dead of winter than have jeans on. In fact, I do that. I wear my brother's letter jacket to school to keep warm. I just really would rather wear something that I feel comfortable in than put on something to impress others and end up suffering through it. I do see your point on the attraction in winter clothes, though. I like the "snuggly" feel that winter clothing gives off.

So you've got snow and you're hot, and I've got no snow and I'm cold? How ironic...

I didn't get very much this year, but I got some good stuff. I got a leather coat, that game Scene It, a cd player, and a replacement Pulp Fiction DVD. My old one was stolen.

This was the year for my little boy though, toy cars and trucks galore. But his favorite gift was an early gift from my sister, a red Yankees cap, and he loved it! I was just a bit jealous .

When I get my own house the first thing I'm getting is a heated driveway. Its a series of tubes that go under your driveway (a new driveway has to be poured) and when it snows you turn it on and I believe it runs antifreeze through the tubes and the snow just melts on contact- no build up.

The heated driveway sounds awesome! I thought you were joking at first... Well, it wouldn't do much good for my kind of weather, but it sounds fun!

This is what the tubes look like:

For a paver driveway:

For a regular asphalt driveway:

Depending on the size of your driveway it is expensive- probably about $5,000 but to not have to worry about shoveling snow for the rest of your life it seems worth it to me.

Thanks, DE NIRO -- but you'd think they'd be called "anti-smellies"

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol
