Who is this faffy guy i've been hearing about and when is his release? Skipper under Scarfo 2nd or 3 generation wise guy. He was running what was left, cos he was the last to go down out of them. He is a killer that knows the life from his for fathers. He just did a long term ,and is not to be taken lightly. The guy is like the rest of the Scarfo guys have a deep dislike for Skinny . Also all these guys sucked up many of Chuckies rackets when Nick put him down to soldier,no love lost with all the old Scarfo guys.. Just scary quiet there in Philly...

Serp Do you think philly is going to have to expand their south and north jersey crews to help feed all these former big timers getting out and keeping them happy ? North jersey makes sense to me with a bunch of arrests the last few years and a few guys starting to go away from Luchesse and WS . Plus Philly used to generate huge sums of $ from north NJ , probably have some old relationships that can get them started. I was at that Genovese busted money laundering , gambling operation in Newark , Portucale , that was a big and and diversified operation ( pay day loans , huge money laundering - allegedly $400M in 4 years , gambling , check cashing, business bust outs , port Newark trucking deals - a typical under the radar sophisticated and diversified WS op in a place you would have no idea had so much $ going thru it , anyway the place is still open , typical lol . Still tho great food, place still packed , the chef was the owner of porto's in Bellville that closed down , guy is a great cook . http://www.nj.com/essex/index.ssf/2014/1...bling_ring.htmlAnyway Serp as you mentioned , sending some up north would probably be smart , lots of business probably to go around

DB That is a great post and funny that it is "still open."
The Philly thing I do not have any first hand news that they are or have been going north ,but if the old guys are all in then I am sure something is or has been in the works.
There are just way to many chiefs ,now I also know that there is a lot pf room east, south, and west ,for them. But they have guys in north jersey and they been making good cash for a long time, and will be asked to help set up shop..
I was just thinking ,then I posted about all the skippers and X skippers out or coming out and there just is not enough rackets in Philly. Since many of these guys now have made some connections and did there time A LOT of people will do bizz with them without the fear of a set up or a flip when it gets rough.
I just think they are heading north ,I don't see any of these guys that are mostly 3rd generation wiseguys just sitting back collecting from a few bookies . They need and want and have been around good rackets all there life and there relatives lives . They know it they lived it and I don't see them opening a laundromat some where and sitting.

Seems like philly could have more guys working South Jersey because I havent heard of much going on in South Jersey since Staino got locked up.. And even in Pennsylvania, outside of Philly P.A. is huge and they should definetly take advantage and have guys operating in places other then South Philly and Delaware County.

I always heard Staino was bringing is some serious cash from South Jersey. Probably why him and Uncle Joe were so close.

What was he doing in delaware county? thought that was Borgesi and monacello? And its crazy because right outside of philly theres like 5 other counties so close that they could start some rackets in. Atleast gambling. and it seems like nobody is doing anything out there.

And wasnt Ranieri basically just a collector? Thats the impression i always had. Just a big ass guy that Staino brought with him for intimidation.
