Hey sorry Mikey just saw this... Charlie White is out of jail but I'll be honest I haven't heard anything about him and quite frankly I'd be surprised if he was back in business or very active as he's well into his late late70s/early-to-mid 80s. Vince Iannece is in construction and pretty tied into the whole crew and I know he's right with Accardo (who also is low key these days and you pretty much don't hear anything about). This is just me speculating but I feel like these guys have a lot of real estate and construction stuff going on. I'm not talking like Genovese level labor racketeering but more like bid rigging and muscling in on jobs and flipping homes with stolen supplies or extorted construction work that kind of thing if that makes sense. But I digress, the other kid of Charlie White also goes by Chaz (same name as father) and was busted in like 2008 in a big and rather complex meth ring bust. Don't know much else on him except that he hung around Joey and those guys in late 80s and early 90s but not much else on him.

I never really believed that theory myself as I know one of the Iannece kids were also really close to Scarfo Jr, during his coming up, when his father still had a hand on things. Theres pictures of them together and he's seen in some of the Scarfo Jr. court footage where he's wearing that trenchcoat. Coulda just been a big coincidence.

I, as a 20 yr. pupil on the scarfo sr. yrs. have a belief that it was in fact chaz, him being a few yrs. older & already in the scheme of things with dad..he was a blocker when they carried sal testa's body out of the candy shop & then "cleaned" the van after the crow & charlie white dumped the body.

Chaz was the one who delivered kiss of death. Chuckie and Sr were like brothers and he knew Nicky loved the mob nostalgia. He coached Joey on what to do so Sr knew where it was coming from and that payback for demotion and talks of taking out whole Merlino Family had come to fruition.

@hoodlum - Actually I was under the impression that Vince Iannece (other son of Charlie White) was a blocker for the Salvie Testa hit and also helped to clean out the van afterwards. He was actually arrested with everyone when they rounded that whole group up for the Salvie murder. Additionally, it was Charlie White's other son Chaz/Charlie Jr who was a spotter for the Nicky Jr hit. He was literally seen walking up to Nicky Jr's table in Dante & Luigi's and greeting him and his cousin who were eating. He proceeded to give Nicky Jr a controversial kiss on the cheek which was interpreted as a "kiss of death" before he immediately left the restaurant and then literally minutes later Joey/Batman walked in and blasted Nicky Jr right there at his table. The theory goes that Charlie Jr identified Nicky Jr in the table and then proceeded to tell Joey exactly where Nicky Jr was sitting as Joey when Joey walked into the restaurant he appeared to know exactly where to go and swiftly approached the table without pause or any doubt as to where the table was. The cops proceeded to make Chaz Jr take a lie detector test after he was identified as a suspect but he supposedly passed the polygraph and thus clearing him, but as we know those lie detectors can technically be beat/manipulated...

Isn't everyone in prison supposed to wear the same government issued clothing? Where did Scarfo get that green shirt and why is Amuso the only one wearing a V-neck?

I don't think we know for sure if Accardo is made or if he's even as involved as he used to be. We had a lengthy chat about him a few months back, but the conclusion was he's either smartened up and is just very low key similar to Vince Iannece or he was just close with Merlino. He was always around Joey in the 90s and also acted as his primary bodyguard along with being involved with gambling, loan sharking and the hijacking theft ring, which are the things we know about via wiretaps and court testimony (could be other stuff though but not sure). My guess is he got made when came back from jail and just smartened up and doesn't want to go back to the can and is real low key now. Someone on here on that old thread I mentioned said that they saw him last fall at some Italian Festival on Passyunk Avenue with a bunch of other mob guys/associates one of who was mentioned was Anthony Borgesi. Didn't know it was in a book, I haven't read Mobfather yet. I was watching a documentary on Caramandi the other day, and this was one of the pictures shown. I'd never seen this pic before, so I searched all over Google trying to find it. I couldn't come up with anything, so I took a screen shot from the documentary.

For you guys that have read Mobfather, would you recommend it? I was thinking about buying it but wanted to hear some opinions.
