Steelers games were always some of the best and unlike many of the opponents we've hosted they brought along some decent fans - shit talkers, beer drinkers with love and knowledge of the game. Plus the females were always attractive and friendly! The Snake was a tough pick to put on the list but seeing as how nobody else had him I'll chalk my inclusion as a tribute to a great athlete. His was a voice I had listened to from my earliest days. Way back in the 1950's, my mother bought a number of his albums. Bikel sang in Yiddish, Russian, French, Greek, English and heaven-only-knows what other languages! He was amazing, and I still can remember my mother doing her best to translate the songs for me. I had always hoped that one day I would be able to meet him, if for no other reason than simply to say "Thank you" for all he gave us. Looks like I was the only one who picked him. R.I.P. Signor V. His "Piper's Pit" segment produced some of the most entertaining and legendary moments the wrestling business has ever seen. Roddy Piper had the ability to get a crowd so riled up, WWE management would have to take him off the road for months at a time to let things cool down.
