For what it's worth here's an article from '94 which paints a rather lucrative picture of the book/operation that the Philly Crew in North Jersey are running headed by the same man, Joe Scoops Licata, that runs the crew and has for awhile now for Philly.

Now I realize that authorities can inflate these numbers, but I think the point it, it's a major operation to be reckoned with and is subsequently generating some serious money. Now for all the NY people, yes this is all relative and we all know from other similar LE indictments and news articles that the Luccheses and Genovese and Gambinos have books of much greater size based on these estimates, but my point is, again, relatively speaking its a pretty major operation and most likely a major source of income for Joey and those guys...
