El Chapo and the other drug lords must be extradeted in US ! Even Pablo Escobar was afraid to be extradered. In Mexico there are brave people but the money buy everything and el Chapo Chapo had lot of money. In a supermax prison in the US el Chapo will go out only as dead body. Mexico has just said they are eager to extradite him and the Fed prosecutors certainly will want him since they have been petitioning to have him extradited since last July. It's funny since he escaped because he was worried about the chance of extradition but now it's pretty much certain since Mexico does not want the embarrassment of him bribing people to live under a glorified house arrest in prison or even escaping again. The Mexican government know they cannot control him and that prison in the U.S. can shut him down. The sad thing is that once Chapo is gone another person just as rotten will take over his cartel or a more brutal rival cartel will just take the Sinaloa Cartel's place.

Imo all powerful crime bosses should do time in countries that aren't their own, so they can't use connections from jail.
I know it will never be done, but I think if there was such an "exchange prisoners" program, global organized crime would be crippled.
And, FIRST OF ALL, imo, ALL COUNTRIES should abolish that bullshit rule of "we don't extradite compatriots to other countries"! Half the Russian mafia would be locked up in prisons all over the world if it weren't for that, then this man here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Anderson_(American_businessman)
would be locked up in India, and the United Arab Emirates wouldn't be a haven for gangsters from all over the world.
And Italy still can't get Amedeo Matacena from Dubai.

2) "Get out of here, old man. Go tell Raymond to go shit in his hat. We're not giving you anything."

The top body guard/hit man caught with Chapo looks like a nasty piece of work. I'm surprised Chapo didn't try to make it Venezuela with their Government being anti American and all that, they could have stashed him somewhere. He should of stayed in the Sierra Madre mountains and Golden Triangle area where he harvests marijuana and opium plants surrounded by a 200 men security ring and hundreds of spotters. The Sierra Madre is huge and the only way the special forces would of get him is by helicopter but he has at least a 2 hour warning from the spotters and the security team that would fire at the helicopters making it difficult to Perdue Chapo without one of the choppers going down. He was about to get captured a couple of weeks ago in Durango but thanks to spotters and his security team firing at the Marine helicopters he got away in an ATV. According to the attorney general El Chapo quickly went to the Golden Triangle by plane when he escaped because that area is up in the Sierra Mountains surrounded by people that protect him. I wonder what made him go to Los Mochis a rival territory controlled by another guy nicknamed "Chapo" Isidro Meza Flores of the Beltran Leyva. Then again it's hard to avoid all the planes and drones in the sky by DEA agents that are 24/7 after him and all the technology of the U.S government.

According to media reports he was meetinng with movie producers about a possible bio pic. Still seems pretty dumb consider he could have had them picked up, blindfolded and brought to him with no problems if he wanted to meet with the them so badly. As you say, the government already knew where he was , catching him was the problem. And I doubt that the authoritarian Venzuelan regime would want someone not beholden to them who is in control of a para-military force and has access to one of the biggest cash-flows in the world running loose in thier country.

Great pictures Goose. Hard to imagine why they would place him in the same prison he already escaped from, Wonderr if the tunnel is filled in yet ??? It's the most secured prison in Mexico according to the Mexican government but Chapo has to many high level connections in the Mexican government that he was able to "escape". Most of the most wanted drug lords and bosses are imprisoned there.

Chapo, while a top guy...wasnt really even the guy...that was rumored to be el azul or el mayo...chapo was more of a figurehead guy than they were...they seemed to stay more behind the scenes probably stay in the mountains el chapo took too many risks, last time he was in a vacation town this time they were after him even worse and he is in town at a house then escapes to a motel

Wow!.....He looks homeless in those pics! In jail, he looked healthy. Amazing how people convince others to be human shields for another human being. They fought to the death for him, and he gives up and goes peacefully? I bet those people who died would have loved to know his intentions to give up if cornered, no? They would recognize that they died for nothing.

They would recognize that they died for nothing. His sicarios/body guards fought till the death so Chapo and Ivan (his head of security) could escape through the sewere but area was quarantined by the Marines and were aprehended on a stolen car. I'm suprised the Mexican Marines didn't kill Chapo and Ivan as they surrendered. I guess the Mexican government wanted to show the world they could keep Chapo behind bars. It's actually pretty common that cartel gunmen give their lives so that their captains and bosses can get away it really tells the mentality of these guys, they are straight up goons that aren't afraid to die. Tony Tormenta, one of the former leaders for the Gulf Cartel, had security of 80 goons and they all died fighting trying to save Tony Tormenta against 600 marines. Arturo Beltran Leyva ordered Edgar Villarreal aka "La Barbie" to send 300 gunmen to fight the Marines when he was cornered in an apartment in Cuernavaca but "La Barbie" denied his request and said it was too late.

Penn looks like one of El Chapo's best customers !! Sean Penn has had the grungy look down to a science for 20 years! One thing I will NEVER understand is what did Charlize Theron see in Jeff Spicolli?
