He will never be the most talented or respected actor but he has got longevity as an actor, writer and director and has created one of the most enduring figures in pop culture.
69 and he still got it.

I thought the movie was great. We'll written. Good fight choreography. Had a lot of heart. Very deserving of its high RT rating and definitely worth checking out.

I watched it tonight, good film. i guess im just a sucker for Rocky. I didn't realize the guy who played Creed was Wallace from The Wire and was also good to see Avon Barksdale make an appearance.. It was better than i expected and will be buying the DVD to go with my Rocky collection even though it's not an official Rocky film..

The Mafia Is Not Primarily An Organisation Of Murderers. First And Foremost,The Mafia Is Made Up Of Thieves. It Is Driven By Greed And Controlled By Fear.
Between The Law And The Mafia, The Law Is Not The Most To Be Feared
"What if the Mafia were not an organization but a widespread Sicilian attitude of hostility towards the law?"
I'm so happy for Stallone that he won the golden globe for this film, he doesn't get the recognition he deserves as a actor and you can see from his winning speech how much he cares about Rocky..
Long live Rocky..

The guy from Homicide can't remember his name now.. He was Creeds boss in the beginning..

DeNiro called it, Wallace,Avon, AND one of the detectives from the Wire.
Foot,
All awards and nominations are subjective but no, Michael B. Jordan didn't deliver any kind of special portrayal or anything.
And no spoiler or anything
but you've made the point before about Stallone's build and how it doesn't add up to being a boxer. You're right but on film, more muscular guy(upper body) looks more imposing. In certain part of the Creed film....there's a real boxer in the ring...but because he doesn't have the "look"....he doesn't look imposing at all. Kind of hurts the scene....even though he's the real deal.
Finally got to see it today, it premiered just last Thursday over here..
I absolutely loved it!!! The fight scenes were great, Stallone was great..
But most of all Michael B. Jordan was superb, if it would've been up to me he would've been nominated for an Oscar and so would've been Ryan Coogler.. I don't think it's necessarily a race thing, but more of an age thing, those decrepit old geezers at the academy still live in the '60's..

Yep, I get what you mean but it looked like Tony Bellew didn't take it seriously enough..
I mean during actual fights he doesn't have that high a fat percentage and you would've seen some abs on him at least LOL
