Honestly, its just sloppy writing.

Earlier in the season Carol is as practical and able to kill as much as any of them. That's the very thing she butted heads with Morgan over when he took that Wolf hostage. But now she loses it and strikes out on her own because she just can't do it anymore? C'mon. Where and did this sudden turnabout originate? Sloppy!

Then you have Darryl, one of the smartest, most capable survivors in the group suddenly go off on his own to avenge the chick that got the arrow through the eye? Even if he wants payback for being tied up and his bike being stilen, he's going to be smarter than just riding off on his own. And then he let's Dwight get the drop on him so easy? Sloppy!

And to top it all off, the others follow them out there and allow themselves to get separated, 1 here, 2 there. It's just unrealistic.

They batter not kill Darryl, especially since it's Glenn that gets the bat treatment from Negan in the comics.

I think it will be one of the four captured to get the bat. So one from Glenn,Rositta,Machonne or Daryl to be killed off.

Daryl was on talking dead. I think we are going to be on a roller-coaster this next season. The Comedian played Negan.

Very frustrating episode. All that shit happens because of Carol. Then Rick and Daryl totally take leave of their senses and get everyone into the worst situation possible. And then they cut it off so you don't even know who it was at the end that Negan killed. I hope Rick cuts that guys balls off.

I hate cliffhangers, but a good episode, i wouldn't like to be in there shoes.They could have at least shown you a clip of who got killed at the end. By the time season 7 comes around we won't be as shocked.

if I was to guess I say either Eugene or Carl got taken out. Good episode hate cliffhangers too!

As for last night I hate when they do that crap too. My guess is Abraham or the queer dude. Reason I think it's a guy is because whoever it was, they raised their head back up after the first shot which is NOT an easy thing to do so I think it's a guy. The reason I say Abraham is because he could see him being a threat and he could make a message by killing the biggest strongest dude of the bunch. I don't see any of the women getting it.

I thought it was good. Frustrating at the end YES. My very first thought is it was Carl but since Negan made the eye comment I don't think so. Not sure who. I know who the comics say it is, but I'm not so sure. Negan is such an evil SOB, doing eenie, meeni, mini mo while swinging "Lucille" around.

Btw, Talking Dead said that not even the cast knows which of them got killed. One of them is out of a job. I read that Chandler Rigg (Carl)tweeted,(looselyphrased) "Don't feel bad, even the cast doesn't know who got killed either."

Who's left to save them. Fr.Gabrielle, Enid, Morgan, Carol?? Negan's s group is huge.

Carol did it before but not now, she was shot twice. Even if she didn't get shot she don't have the same mind frame.

Remember those "Horsemen" who reached out to help Morgan & Carol(I believe they're in the comics)? Perhaps their group (assuming there are more of them), will come to the rescue???

The Horsemen are in the comics, but under a different name. I suspected that at the barn scene. Smaller then the other groups but more capable then the others IMO.

They're good guys, they're from the Kingdom. They're led by a man named Ezekiel who has a tiger as a companion. Carol is probably going to fill the role Michonne plays with them in the comics.

I hear what you mean. However, Maggie did interview via Talking Dead and said "Not even the cast knows who got killed." I hear Carl tweeted the same thing. Then again, who knows.


On another note, the fact that Negan said they "all work for him now" indicates no one else will get murdered (at this moment anyway)

I don't think it is Carl because as the screen goes black you hear Negan say that they should pluck out Carl’s eye and force Rick to eat it if anyone tries to stop him.

Hey TIS, when you really think about it Negan can't kill all of them because he needs people to go out and gather goods and supplies, as well as fend off others that may be out there, in order to survive.

Robert Kirkman made an excellent point when he was on The Talking Dead when he said ( and I paraphrase now ) " Had viewers been introduced to Negan from the pilot episode and grown with him and his group throughout the seasons, the viewers would be viewing Negan and his group as the good guys and the new season 6 character Rick Grimes and his group as the bad guys who went around slashing throats and stabbing people in their sleep."

Great point and I agree.

What it comes down to is that everyone in this post apocalyptic world is doing what they need to do in order to survive. It's the living that now pose the major threats, not the walking dead.

I don't see why you could not pluck out the eye of a victim who has been whacked topside several times with a slip of wood wrapped in wire.
