U have 2 remember, Ange isnt the actual cook, he pays a mexican 9.00 bucks an hr.2 put out that food in a timely fashion in an orderly way, but the recipes MAY b his...or his mom's..his risotto could b better, that's a tough dish 2 perfect.,,u cant teach that 2 just anyone, let alone a mexican who has it in their blood 2 do rice their own ways. This logic is just asinine. Now, obviously a different class of restaurant...but thats like saying all of Gordon Ramseys restaurants are shit and his food isnt that good since he isnt in all of them behind the stove. Come on now.

Someone I am friendly with is very close with Lutz. I've heard this as well. At first, I didn't believe it, simply because it's Collingswood and more conspicuous than a south Philly hangout. But, I was proven wrong on that. It's not a daily occurrence, but it's also not uncommon. My buddy says that he (not Lutz) was concerned for Angelo because these guys were coming around and he didn't want Lutz to fall back. But, he told me Lutz is a really solid person. Lutz feels that he shouldn't have to turn his back on his friends because He's not doing anything wrong and has nothing to hide. After watching this video, I buy that he has this attitude. More power to him. He got a few licks in with his comments and he gives a bit of extra credit to the slyness of his buddies. But, he was pretty straight-forward in the video. Does merlino and friends pop in every once in awhile. Borgesi, Mazzone and Ciancaglini are all regulars at his place. Just curious, where did you hear this from?
