Found something interesting. Eugene R. Imbrogno's uncle was Frank A. Imbrogno, also of Mount Vernon.

Frank was a bookmaker who ran illegal gambling houses. His businesses were raided and he was arrested many times from the 1930s - 1950s.

In a major 1940 gambling raid, Frank and other shopkeepers were busted. Some of those hauled in where Frank Sposato, Patsy Mosca (later became a Deputy Public Works Commissioner), Robert E. Mulligan, Frank Porro, Vito Savino, Ralph Savino and Nathan Davis.

^^^ anyone heard of any of these people?
