Of course he was innocent. What guilty guy would actually go on the run with a loaded gun, fake mustache and goatee?

Ah I wouldn't say innocent. I'd say enough reasonable doubt was raised to prevent a guilty verdict.

i just don't see what a "innocent" man would be doing leading police on an hour long high speed chase. i mean if he was innocent why would he have to run.

He's not innocent. Sure, the jury found him not guilty. Don't even get me started on that corrupt jury. As long as you have a swindler of a lawyer trying to put "reasonable doubt...whatever reasonable means" in their minds they're gonna get off. How many hours HAS O.J. spent trying to find the "real killers"?

in a way they found him guilty on it.they couldnt put him back on trial for those murders because of double jepordy, but they did file a civil suit against him and won making him pay 33.5 million to both families.

Who are the only Jews to have a Heisman Trophy?

Sid Luckman and Ronald Goldman Sr. (I might have the first name wrong). In a sick way ... to answer Mig's question. There was a civil suit...wrongful death, I think...from which O.J. had to make restitution. It was rumored (or maybe fact) that he gave up his Heisman Trophy.

Most of O.J.'s money these days comes from his pension, which cannot be touched. I saw O.J. on a show not too long ago smuggly saying if he ever had to be in a position to pay those people back he just wouldn't work.

it was a fact that he had backed when espn interviewed him after finding out he was goin to the orange bowl. and the civil suit was the only way to come back at OJ for the murders because they couldnt charge him for the same murders again.

When Johnny Cochran is your lawyer, you almost always find a way to at least appear innocent.

What percentage of Blacks do you think SAY that they believe OJ is innocent, but really believe he is guilty?

[/b][/quote]I don't know what that has to do with this, but please continue with what you were trying to say. I highly recommend Alan Colmes' book "Red, White, and Liberal" Even if you don't want to read the whole thing, just read the chapter, "OJ is Innocent." It provides an accurate portrayal of what really happened and it convinced me enough to think that he is innocent. -Pat

I gave my opinion just like you did. I didn't give any assumptions. I stated that I believed he was innocent and gave a reason as to why. You're yet to tell me why he's guilty. -Pat

What would you do if your wife and the person she was cheating on you with were found murdered in the house where you lived?
