Ya every week or so when i am down in that area eating that place is always wide open people just hanging out outside that joint...and you are spot on with grande, and all of them need to give nic and his family a ton of dough as in send kids to Penn or Nova if thats a possibility, id like to know how besides sports books and loans they all are making money, I know they all are in on the real estate boom around passyunk and other areas, I mean you could get row houses in north and west philly for $500 and im sure there is some dumb ass govt waste project to rebuild those areas that they are in the know of

Most wives whose husband is doing life is fucking something new. More then likely someone he knows. I bet no one visits him except his blood family and maybe wife. I dont know how its in a pa prison but in mass if your convicted of a felony there not letting you in a visiting room.

I fully agree Vegas. Not sure if in my rant I came off as saying if Dom doesn't step up for his family he's going to flip. I agree that nicodemo isn't talking no matter what.. I think there's no chance he ever flips... I was just saying In my mind it's only right to do what he can to help his buddies family when he's away... Why never any info on al lance?? Mikey lances nephew?? He's got a button but no one ever has much to say about him at all.. He stays pretty low key is never really seen in all the pictures like most of the other guys.. Just always wondered about him, who's his captain?? He also lives in Delaware so I wonder where his rackets are based? I'm guessing south jersey even though philly ain't that much further.. I could only imagine the stress nicodemo feels. Imagine being a good earner and fully supporting your wife and kids living a good life then you go away for 20 years... Not knowing if you're wife will be able to keep the household afloat with all the bills and children to raise.. But I guess these wives know who they're marrying beforehand.. Does anyone honestly think that that it's possible for made guys wives to have no idea what they're husbands really do day in and day out?? Even if it was never spoken about when you're married or in a serious relationship with a girl they know a lot about what you do. Even if you try to hide it.. Plus the neighborhood gossip and everything else..

I am pretty sure that Skinny knew he was going down at this time and so did Georgie so he had Skinny put him up and lock in his rackets and made the guy or guys he wanted made .

There is a possibility that a couple things were settled also like getting even cos at this time I am sure Skinny knew this case was big .

Brian McMonagle specializes in a few areas of practice, and one of those areas is organized crime, meaning RICO cases. He's very familiar with the Philly mob. In fact, before he was a defense lawyer, he was a prosecutor who prosecuted Nicky Scarfo. He also specializes in state court homicides. Nicodemo didn't just pick him because he's a good lawyer. There's plenty of them in Philly. This is a well rounded lawyer who can play ball on several different fields.

I unfortunately had to retain Eddie Jacob's services once, he's beyond expensive but worth every penny. I can imagine Joey is paying well over 300k for his services at a RICO trial....

On a funny side note, Eddie Jacobs office has many pictures of Merlino and Ligambi in it from when he defended them at their mob trials, if you just walked into his office for a second and didn't know anything about the mob, you would immediately know he's a mob criminal defense attorney. But the funniest thing I saw there was that he had an "elegant" charcoal painting of Joey Merlino hanging up and framed in a very prominent place in his office. It made me laugh and think about the Kramer painting from Seinfeld or the episode in The Sopranos when Paulie has Tony painted to be a General like Napoleon....LOL

Eddie loves these guys. I've heard he's very close to Ligambi. Their love for cigars and red wine knows no boundaries.

Nicodemo also had Frank DePasquale on his defense team who aside from being a top lawyer in the city was supposedly identified in the Ligambi trial by one of the rats as a made member. He's John Chang's first cousin and was one of the pallbearers for Mike Chang's funeral. I've always been curious about this guy and what, if he is in fact a made man, he's involved with and what his deal is, etc? I did a little digging a bit ago and found that he does a lot of legal work for other confirmed made guys. It looked like he does a lot of legal stuff for these guys in terms of trusts and protecting money and assets and creating partnerships and that sort of thing. Basically helping them protect and/or hide assets/money and what not amongst other things I'm sure. Bobby Simone did a lot of stuff like that for Scarfo behind the scenes aside from his obvious literal legal defense work. The Feds called Bobby Simone the de-facto Consigliere for the family. Anyways, not sure what, if any, stuff that he's involved with/in but if anyone has any info on him at all I would love to hear it!
