My guess is this is a weak case and Joey will plead out to less than 6, I'd be very surprised if they have him on wire really incriminating himself. I still believe he is extremely sharp when it comes down to the things he says and to whom.
He needs to stay away from all NY guys, Too many rats come from there. Every time you read something about New York there's another Rat that put someone away smh

I think the case against merlino isn't as crazy as the first press release made it seem. I want to hear all the recordered and videoed conversations... I can't see Joey saying anything on tape that is going to really bury him. He seems smart enough to pretty much assume everyone's wired and probably says very few words and some head nods and that's that.. But he for sure should have kept his nose out of dealing with anyone new outside of Philly. I think if he kept to just his Philly boys he would have never been indicted. I agree, the Feds are always gonna make an indictment sound like they have a great case, that's just to make these guys nervous and hoping someone will cooperate. Yeah he would never be in this position if he stuck with his philly boys, them guys aren't rats the past has proved that !!

They say he visits regularly, but he appears to still spend most of his time in Florida. Ligambi appears to be the main guy on the street. I'm sure all of Merlino's guys are trying to sort out how this effects:
-their respective positions within the family
-their collective position on the street as a family I am almost positive that when Eddie Jacobs went to Florida a while back and was in a photo with Skinny smoking a cigar Eddie was there for this reason so Skinny and others have known about this indictment coming down for a while . I would think that all the shuffling and talk and Skinny going back and forth to Philly and meeting with Georgie had to do about this cos Skinny goes away for a while and uncle Joe don't want the top spot then George is pushing I am sure and we all know who he wants hit so time will tell .
