AG, I too have sleep apnea. The sleep study was intense. They put you in hotel style room in the Hospital and wire you up and down your who;e body then they tell you that you will be monitored by video and sound and then they say now go to sleep. That was tough sleeping with all that gear on. After a few days the Doctor said i stopped breathing a lot of times during my test. It took me a long while to get used to the mask but, now, I can't sleep without it. I take it with me everywhere. even if I take a nap i use it. I feel so much better. Yeah the jokes are out there but, you know what I am more rested and feel better. I hope he's changing the filters, hose, mask regularly. Glad to hear that your husband is doing well with it. It does save lives.
