Don't listen to Giacamo Vacari, he makes things up, got exposed and ran off the black hand forum Didn't Cheech get ran off here because he photoshopped pictures of John Gotti's face on to Lexington Steele's body?
I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

@Ivey
You can see how one would get wrong impressions on some of this stuff. To a casual observer, if they were to read a recent article, it looks like the Bonnanos are the the third strongest, at least.
During Massinos height of power, he had 15 functioning crews right? Everyone would agree they haven't gotten stronger since he flipped? Or is this wrong?
On the Colombos, they are primarily in Brooklyn, on Long Island, and maybe Queens? I always wondered, did Gerry Lang have any protégés?

Operation New Bridge was back in 2013 or 2014, it was mainly aimed at the Calabrians on Italy's end, but many routes lead to the Bonanno and Gambino families, so instead of going after them separately, both authorities combined their efforts and resources. I think Scott still posts on here, he would be the best one to answer that for you. On the Zips, they are into narcotics, smuggling, among other things. Villabate has a strong hold in New York City, made up of three or four families from there, but their number of men of honor seems to be no more than 20.

On the Colombos, they are primarily in Brooklyn, on Long Island, and maybe Queens? I always wondered, did Gerry Lang have any protégés? Yeah some reports had the family with as many as 15 crews. They are definitely not stronger than they were 15-20 years ago. They had 15 members flip, including a boss, underboss, and several captains. As for the Colombos, they are certainly the most geographically limited family in NY. The vast majority of their presence in Brooklyn, as well as Long Island to a lesser extent.
Mods should mind their own business and leave poster's profile signatures alone.

Respectfully, I think this discussion on The Columbo's deserves its own post. I have always been interested in The Bonanno's and lately the lack of info on The Columbo's deserves its own thread.

See all these posters quoting this and laughing? Me either. I Had to google Lexington Steele. You must be a fan of his. who ran me off? Should I post the screenshots of you trying to post across the street under a different identity. You were outed right away and you left with your tail between your legs. Anyone here that posts at the other place knows. I can always post the screen shots. Punk

It says a lot about the intelligence (or lack thereof) of people like Cheech that they always have to resort to homophobia and racism.
Ironic that he calls the Irish dumb when the Irish successfully integrated into American society as soon as they emigrated while the Italian gangsters he idolizes had to resort to petty crime.
And fanboys like Cheech still make excuses for these dregs of society while making deranged comments about black people.
Definition of irony.
"Pale faced"? We're not all stereotypes, Cheech.
Don't throw insults around just because your girlfriend got tired of your banana nose and greasy skin and wanted a real man.
Sorry, SC, for bringing myself down to Cheech's level. I didn't think he would react to my - clearly humorous original comment - with such sick hatred and xenophobia. remind someone we're not all stereotypes... begin stereotyping very next sentence. i'm not invested in this dispute between you two, but way to shoot yourself in the foot.

SC, in all fairness, Moe should get some type of vacation too. This guy has a history of causing trouble. He certainly isn't a saint and many of his posts can be quite argumentative. But rather than get into a fight between this guy and that guy and their respective friends I am asking all to chill out with the nasty remarks. This certainly isn't a board for saints but we should show a little respect for other members even if we don't like them or what they're saying. C'mon guys and gals.... the holiday season is coming up. Let's try to stay in the spirit of the season and be kind to each other.

Many go after Moes, but few go after Crash/Pogo. I have come to appreciate Moe a little more and more. Pogo is a good research, only a fool would say otherwise. But many of the Mafia forums are really a buddy, buddy system with many posters. They go after someone who is not in their circle and let those who are in their circle slide most of the time on some offensive stuff, I say most not all all. Cheech has been on this road many times before, so it is nothing new to him. AG, Dix, and I are not above it as well. Just learn from the mistakes. Reading the posts across the street has been most entertaining and enlightening to know who the posters really are, shame I can not post over there, but at least I have access to all threads over there.
