I finished watching the mini series 11 22 63 an adaptation of the novel by Stephen King. Very entertaining, excellent acting. Anybody see it? Or read the novel? "3:10 to Yuma". Great film. Finally saw it in its entirety, only had seen bits and pieces. X-Men Apocalypse was entertaining, full of action. Good cast. Very enjoyable movie imo. Turner Classic Movies - I watched "The Heiress" What a very sad, depressing film. I felt drained after watching it. Superb cast. My kids saw the new Godzilla film in the theatre. I got out of seeing it, thank God lol.

It's been 4 years now since I've been yelled at or heard my parents bickering so I've been watching The Costanza's on Seinfeld I feel right at home So funny. Can anyone relate? https://youtu.be/zkdausJO3Oo"What do you need all that ketchup for?" "Will you stop, I'm on the telephone!!!" I'm gone two weeks and you turn my house into, into Bourbon Street! Who the hell did you ever mention his hands to? Why'd you put the bananas in there? (There's a lil delay on the vid)

Just saw the Amanda Knox documentary on Netflix, very good and compelling. Can't believe that a lot of people still think she did it.. Didn't she do cartwheels and stuff when she was waiting around after being brought in for questioning? Not that it presumes guilt. People do crazy shit when they are in shock.
I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

Serenity Now! Great Seinfeld episode with George's parents. AG, I can relate... my parents are exactly like Frank & Marie Barone on Raymond. Serenity Now! Yeah those two are another couple that I can relate to. Lord, help you. Have you ever left their house with the two of them arguing and they didn't notice you were gone until about ten minutes later? That happened quite a bit.

That's what Italian police told the press yes, but they also told Amanda that she was HIV positive when she was in jail which was absolutely not true. They did it to fuck with her head.. Italian police can be brutal I've learned..

Is this thread only for TV series that are newer than 2015 ? If not, im watching Underbelly: Land Of The Long Green Cloud at the moment. Picked it up for 6 quid on dvd from the local shop, one of my favorite TV series. Its about the "Mr Asia" drug syndicate, marty johnstone and terry clark.

There's no Random posting thread in General Discussion. So, don't forget to turn back your clocks Sunday. If you don't, you may miss a movie or TV program. Also:
The 2016 Fall TV season is about a month in, and while it’s too early to make any final judgments on winners and losers, here’s how things are shaping up.
Winner: MacGyver This reboot of the classic 80’s series defied the conventional wisdom that a Friday night timeslot equals death for a new show. Instead, the show has managed to maintain solid ratings and recently scored a full-season order. Loser: Pure Genius The only new CBS fall show to premiere to soft ratings, this medical drama starring Augustus Prew and Dermot Mulroney opened to just 6.2 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. And as shows tend to dip in their subsequent weeks, this one could be ripe for cancellation already. Winner: Supergirl’s CW move The Girl of Steel went from being a bubble show on CBS to the top-rated show on The CW. This was a no-brainer.
Winner: This Is Us Who knew a wholesome, earnest family drama would be the breakout hit of the fall TV season? NBC needed a hit, and it got one in Dan Fogelman’s latest. Loser: Notorious “Notorious” has the unfortunate distinction of being the first fall show to have its episode order cut – essentially a cancellation.
Winner: Lethal Weapon Among the hits and misses of movies being turned into TV shows, Fox’s redo of the Mel Gibson cop comedy is firmly in the “hit” column, thanks to the strong chemistry between the two leads.
Loser: Divorce Sarah Jessica Parker’s big return to TV and the network of “Sex and the City” didn’t make much of a splash, and “Insecure” and “Westworld” are both buzzier. Winner: Designated Survivor Kiefer Sutherland’s return to TV was a resounding success, and “Designated Survivor” is a hit with audiences and critics alike. Loser: NFL Games There are only a few guarantees in life: death, taxes, and strong TV ratings for NFL games. That last one has been a bit shaky thus far this season, however, as weak match-ups, sloppy play, altered rules and even a contagious national anthem protest have turned a significant number of viewers off.

I really only watch 2 of those listed. I surprisingly do like Lethal Weapon. I always liked the movie but didn't think bringing it to tv was a good idea. So far, I was wrong. Damon Wayans is really good and so is the guy who plays Riggs. (Don't know his name. Never saw him before this show.) The two DO have good chemistry which probably is one reason it works. Also, Designated Survivor. Very interesting premise and so far, story is very good. Never really watched the original MacGyver but my brother ALWAYS watched when he was young. I read earlier critics bashing both MacGyver and Lethal Weapon. I was prepared for a cancellation. Glad to see so far that's not the case. TIS

I finished watching the mini series 11 22 63 an adaptation of the novel by Stephen King. Very entertaining, excellent acting. Anybody see it? Or read the novel? I read the novel. It is a LONG read. I was fascinated by it while I was reading it. Did you read it? I have some criticisms of it near the end but don't want to spoil anything for you or others. I don't get Hulu so I haven't seen any of the episodes. Was it a one-season series or more of a traditional show?

It was a TV Mini-Series, 8 episodes, one season. I still rent Netflix DVDs, so that's how I was able to watch them. Try Amazon or Netflix.
