Yes Negan is a brutal monster but I cannot hate the man. He makes me laugh. His one liners are as good as Abraham's. Quote of the night "I shoved my dick down your throat and you thanked me for it." Daryl is biding his time with Negan. I can't see him broken. He has a plan. Maybe Rick will bounce back at the mid season finale.

"Easy peasy lemon squeazy" on doing something and I nearly spit out my coffee. I had to explain it to her that I had just heard it on the show but quickly ended it because she got bored and she said, "How can you watch that show?"

P/S I can't stand Carl, with that Yankee Doodle dandy gauze wrapped around his head and that cowboy hat from his dad. I was hoping he would have been introduced to Lucille but I guess we are going to have to wait! On various TWD articles, under comments, I notice a lot of people hate Carl. I don't hate him at all. I actually like him. He could lose the hat and maybe trim his hair a bit tho. LOL When Rick had the ax to his arm and poor Carl said, "Dad, do it", broke my heart. I find Father Gabriel quite annoying and useless as well as Enid. I wouldn't care if either of them got killed off. TIS

I will be surprised if they kill him off. Wish they would though. TIS, you are right about Enid that is a useless character. Father Gabe is semi useless.

Last week's episode was really good too. At least Carl has a little help with Jesus on his side. I'm still waiting to see Carol's reaction since she has no idea that what happened with Negan. I'm hoping she'll go back to the bad ass Carol and help in some way. Oh, and poor Darryl. I hope it's either/or both Rick and Darryl that kill Negan. TIS

I don't think they will get Negan before the mid season finale. 2 more episodes. Why is boring episodes over an hour long? Agreed. A whole episode on Tara? It's obvious the networks are all about cashing out now. They want to draw it out 2 more years. Do the right thing. We don't want to see Tara or her problems more than 10 minutes per episode. Do a Negan backstory. Then do Negan's relationship with Rick and Rick's relationship with Alexandria and the common hate that Hilltop, the Kingdom, Alexandria, and DykeVille share for the saviors. After that let the war begin. They won't do that though. They will draw it out. Not for the fans, but for every dollar they can squeeze out of what was once a great show.

Tho, Sunday's episode wasn't horrible, I agree that we don't need an entire episode on Tara. I thought the episode with only Morgan was worse. That was so unnecessary. And, they had 2 with the governor which was 1 too many. I don't know why they do that. I wanted to see what happened to Carl/Jesus. I wanna see Darryl get free. I wanna see Carol back in the group. I read comments on Yahoo or whatever sites run the stories and some ppl are so pissed they say they don't wanna watch anymore. I don't feel that way at all BUT they Do have some unnecessary episodes IMO. TIS

The books are still being written, and the show is following the plots written (for the most part, although there have been some changes). I dont see why they would stop before they reach the end unless at some point the show stops turning a profit.

I wouldn't mind seeing a back story on Negan. How he came to be in power...

I dont see why they would stop before they reach the end unless at some point the show stops turning a profit. How much longer you think it's going to last? Just because the comic is still going doesn't mean the show will keep going. The longer the show, the more it costs them to run and harder to turn a profit. I have no idea how much longer it will go. The only thing i know for sure is that if the series ends before kirkman finishes the books the tv show cant use his ending. As of now in the books Negan is still alive and so are Rick, Carl, Maggie and Michonne from the main group that exist on screen and the page. Carole on the show seems to be headed towards getting Michonne's book role related to the Kingdom. (Shes been dead in the books for ages.)

we seem to be seeing less and less of the main characters now as we have six 6 divisions of main characters: That's because they don't have to pay them for that episode. No name characters mean cheap episode. Generally, series regulars (main cast) are paid for all episodes, even ones that they don't appear in. It's pretty much the industry standard in contracts. 'Guest Stars', or recurring cast are only paid for episodes they film.
