In a way, this is what Trump gets. He was one to complain about the electoral college and now he won because of it. Lol. Then he spent all that time complaining about a rigged election and now the tables have turned. It's hard to feel sorry for him there.

I happen to think all the crying about the electoral college is silly and a bit ignorant. The contest was always to try winning the electoral college in those key swing states, not to win the popular vote. Otherwise, why spend time and resources campaigning in smaller swing states? People just don't get it. Even Trump himself doesn't quite get it.

I guess all the people crying actually have high expectations for politicians. My expectations are as low as possible so I guess that makes me at peace with whatever the outcome.

Yes I'm aware. I also happen to believe it's preferable over the popular vote. Just ironic how Trump himself is against the electoral college system.

Austism is the hardest thing to diagnose and they want to do it on a kid that has been up all day and night when his father became president just by looking at him.

If Jill Stein were out of the race Hillary could of won. Jill makes Hillary lose and then she wants a recount. Makes no sense, all she wants is her 15 mins. of fame. Mind you she should run again in 2020 to split the vote.

Alright, I'll take the bait on Castro.

Is dying at 90 really some sort of losing result? What sort of god punishes someone by letting them make it to 90? What's the message there?

Look at the assassination attempts by the CIA. The mafia. Operation Mongoose. Operation Family Jewels.

Castro outlived all of them.

His rebels annihilated a U.S. backed regime. He was never killed or captured for it.

Socialism didn't take hold (at least not for the poor...), but Fidel Castro outfoxed ALL of his enemies.

Perhaps at his old age, Fidel lost the stomach killing political opponents, starving the Cuban people, and putting homosexuals in reeducation camps. cuba is no where the place where it used to be, I know people who have recently been there, they all say they had a positive visit, and would like to go back. it's 2016 not 1960.

Government controlled trips. Trips in which you are allowed to see only what they want you to see. You don't get unbridled tourism on a trip to Cuba.
