They gave Obama the Nobel Peace Prize to calm the right wingers who were labeling him as a Hitler. They wanted Obama to have the reputation as a pacifist peace maker, for his own safety.

Obama was nominated for the Nobel award 11 days after he took office in 2009.With only 11 days as president how do they know he was a pacifist and we all know now that isn't true; he engaged war in Syria, Libya,Yemen and Afghanistan. He really messed up the middle east.
